I visited Miyakojima to see its three famous bridges.
Irabu Bridge, the longest toll-free bridge in Japan
Ikema Bridge, famous for the stunning turquoise waters known as “Miyako Blue”
Kurima Bridge, known for its breathtaking view of Yonaha Maehama Beach
Unfortunately, I only had time to visit Irabu Bridge and Ikema Bridge.
No matter where I went on Miyakojima, I was amazed by the beautiful beaches and crystal-clear sea. Every corner of the island felt picture-perfect.
To finish the trip, I enjoyed an Orion beer in the departure lounge at Miyako Airport. It was the perfect way to end my visit.
Renting a car is the best way to explore the island.
